SACRE Contacts & Annual Reports

The database lists key personnel who support Standing Advisory Councils on Religious Education (SACREs).

SACREs that are subscribed members of NASACRE are indicated by the coloured NASACRE flower logo. The grey flower logo indicates the SACRE were subscribed members the previous academic year. Membership will be reset each July as membership payments are received for the next academic year.

The official e-mail contacts for each SACRE (Clerk and/or LA officer) are listed, to enable the public (including teachers) to contact their SACRE for advice about Collective Worship and Religious Education.

Annual Reports

A legal duty of each SACRE is to write an annual report. You can read the annual reports for your SACRE below.

NASACRE have commissioned analyses of recent annual reports. You can read them here:

Annual Reports – What and when to write

SACRE reports need to be sent as ONE document in PDF format with a maximum size of 3Mb. NASACRE has provided a framework which explains what an SACRE should include in its Annual Report.

They should be sent in December following the school year they report on. E.g. the report on Sept 2025 to Aug 2026 should be sent in December 2026

There was a Webinar on the changes in October 2026, and you can access a recording of part of that on the Training page Training – NASACRE
