SACREs in paid-up membership are invited to nominate one candidate for election as trustee to serve on the NASACRE Executive; the normal length of service is 3 years.
Being a member of the Exec is an active role, requiring a commitment of time and energy to support the work of NASACRE in serving the SACREs. Exec members are not paid for their services, and do not represent specific SACREs or faith groups. They must be over 18 and cannot have been previously disqualified as a trustee or company director, be an undischarged bankrupt or have certain unspent criminal convictions.
Trustees are bound by the Constitution and are responsible for ensuring NASACRE operates within its stated purposes and legal requirements. Guidance on what it means to be a trustee is found here:

NASACRE seeks to appoint up to 8 trustees to cover the following roles in 2025: Secretary, Assistant Treasurer and 6 Exec members to our 3 specific key areas of work. There will be at least two members and a NASACRE officer working on each aspect.
